Assistance during the war: how the Premier FOOD and the brand Mr. Grill bring our joint victory closer
On 24 February 2022, we all woke up in a new reality. In that one where the history is live, and task of business is not only promote brands, but also protect its employees, prevent panic and help civilians and military. Everyone found himself on his own front. A year of full-scale war has already passed. It’s time to breathe and strike the summary. The Premier FOOD company with its own brand Mr. Grill has something to answer.
The Premier FOOD Group — is the recognized leader in the field of food service companies, which has been working already on the Ukrainian marker over 15 years. .The Premier FOOD introduces the culture of hot dog consumption and continues to develop the national market of street food. It is a manufacturer and owner of the well-known brand Mr. Grill — the same hot dogs from the gas stations.
As of the beginning of the war, the company’s production lines were at the stage of modernization in order to expand and diversify the production. A ready project was approved, and its implementation should be start. The war hit pause the supply and stopped running important business projects. But the company did not stop work or close the doors of its offices and plants. In the first days of war, its own trucks went on delivery routes, and only on 25 February, a pause was made so that employees could help their family members. The company has thought about housing for its employees in order to move them away from military actions (Vinnytsia Region) and establish a new head office closer to plants. Already on third day of the full-scale invasion, due to a strong and united team, we adapted to new realities and actively engaged on volunteering.
It was on the third day of full-scale invasion, the Premier FOOD company, together with KMDA (Kyiv City State Administration) established its own food aid and deployed mobile points in metro, schools and kindergartens for cooking and distribution of the Mr. Grill hot dogs and burgers. Over 100,000 hot dogs were made and distributed during the operation of these mobile points. The civilians and defenders of Kyiv, Irpin, Vasylkiv, Borodianka and Vyshhorod received more than 20 tons of sausage products.
During the year of war, the Premier FOOD Company did not reduce the staff, but expand it by more than 20%. At a critical moment we did not give up in despair, indeed, we increased the volume of production, opened new logistics centres in the regions and renew the second stage of a new plant construction. We are doing everything to ensure that small business could be able to feed Ukrainians and further. In addition, we did not stop delivery event to the extremely danger places not far from the front line. Total within a year, more than 50 tons of ready products were given to military persons, displaced persons, boarding-schools and all those who needed it.
We did not limit ourselves with the food front. The company actively cooperates with the charitable foundations and military units. Within the year of war, our military aid exceeded UAH 5 million. We bought and transferred vehicles, equipment for our air defence forces, diesel generators, DJI Mavic drones, thermal imaging cameras, tablet computers, monitors, printers, routers, communication devices, organized social projects and even helped with sewing military clothes. In total, we have closed already more than 300 requests of those who contacted us, and we do not stop there. When we read about enemy losses, we know: we too made efforts to this impressive statistics.
